Juan dies but Malamadre doesn’t, he defends Juan till the end, although he knew Juan was a police, because they became friends.

SHUTTER ISLAND
In the film Leonardo Dicaprio is a private detective called Teddy Daniels. He goes to Shutter Island, a very important mental hospital situated in an island, with his partner Chuck Aule to investigate how one of the patients was able to escape of her cell. The patient was a woman called Rachel Solando who had killed her three children some years ago. The doctor John Cawley, the head of the institution, says to the detectives that Rachel thinks that she is still at home and her children are still alive. Teddy says to doctor Cawley that he wants to see the files of the mental hospital, but Cawley refuses.
That night Teddy dream with his wife, who died in a fire, and she says to him that Rachel is still in the island and also is Andrew Laeddis, the man who started the fire where his wife dead.
The detectives question the staff and some of the patients (one of them says to Teddy that he has to run out the island), but they can’t question Rachel’s doctor because he is on vacation, so Teddy goes angry with the doctor John Cawley because he thinks that he doesn’t want to collaborate with them. After question the staff and the patients Teddy and Chuck go for a walk and Teddy explains to Chuck the real reason he took the case: because some time ago he met one person who was in Shutter Island and he said to Teddy that in the mental center they experiment with the patients, and it was horrible. When they return to the mental hospital Rachel Solando was in her room, some doctors found her near the lighthouse of the Island. Teddy starts to question Rachel but she doesn’t answer to any of his questions. After that he tries to reach the lighthouse because he thinks that was there where the doctors do the experiments. But he can’t reach the lighthouse and he arrives to a cave where he found the real Rachel Solando. She explains to Teddy that she wasn’t mad; she used to work at the mental hospital but one day she discovered that they want to control the human minds with their human experiments and they locked up her. She also says to Teddy that they have drugged him and he will die.
The day before Teddy Teddy finally makes him to the lighthouse and finds Cawley waiting at the top. Cawley says to him that he was Andrew Laeddis. He killed his manic depressive wife after she killed his three children and he invented all this fantasy where he was a hero, not a murderer. He has been under the care of the man he thought was Chuck, his partner, for two years. Andrew (the real name of Teddy) starts to remember everything. Finally when the doctors think that he is back to reality, Andrew starts to fantasize again, so the doctors decide that they have to prepare a lobotomy for Andrew. Finally he says to his doctor that is better to die as a good man than to live as a monster so Andrew is aware of the reality but he can’t live with it.

JUNO
This film talks about Juno's life a sixteen year old teenager. The film starts with an image of Juno, drinking and drinking Sunny D, and an armchair. She is looking the armchair because she made love with a friend on it. Juno is worried because she thinks she is pregnant, so she's drinking tons of Sunny because she wants to produce enough pee to do another pregnancy test (she did another pregnancy test before, but she thought that the first test is not very reliable). When she finishes drinking all the Sunny, she goes to a store and buys a pregnancy test, but the result is again positive; Juno is pregnant. After this, Juno calls her friend Leah and tells her her problem. Leah helps Juno and finally Juno decides to terminate her pregnancy. Juno goes to Bleeker's house (Bleeker is who slept with Juno; her best friend) and tells him that she is pregnant and she wants to have an abortion. He says to her that he respects her decision. So the day after that Juno goes to interrupt her pregnancy but finally she decides not to abort. She goes to see Leah and tells her that she has changed her mind and she wants to give up her baby in adoption. So they start to look for the perfect couple for her baby and finally they find it. Then Juno and Leah go to Juno's home to tell Juno's parents (Well, Juno's father and the wife of Juno's father) that she is pregnant and she wants to give up the baby in adoption. Her father says to her that he will go with Juno to meet the parents-to-be of Juno's baby. So the day after they go to meet Vanessa and Mark. They live in a posh neighborhood and they have a big house. They talk about the adoption and they agree that Juno will come to show the couple the ultrasound scan of the baby and they agree that they won't send Juno any pictures of the baby (because Juno doesn't want to).
In time Juno starts to strike up friendship with Mark because she shares with him her pleasures. They both love rock and terror films. Mark starts to remember his life after being married with Vanessa; he misses this life.
Juno is still in love with Bleeker but she doesn't want to admit it and she ignores him; so she breaks Bleeker's heart. But when Bleeker doesn't invite Juno to the graduation dance and invites Katrina, she feels very jealous and she gets angry with Bleeker.
When she is about to give birth she goes to visit Mark and Vanessa; Mark was alone at home. He tells her that he is going to break up with Vanessa, and Juno gets angry with him. Suddenly Vanessa gets home and Mark and she argue. Juno comes out the house crying and writes a note for Vanessa. After that she goes to her house and she speaks with her father about love and she realizes that she loves Bleeker, so she goes and she reveals her feelings to him.
Some days after, at Bleeker's athletics competition, he realizes that Juno isn't in the grandstand and he realizes that she was giving birth so he goes to the hospital with Juno. Juno and Bleeker don't want to see the baby because they feel that is Vanessa's.
Finally Vanessa has her baby, a boy, and in the baby's bedroom wall is hanging Juno's note which says: "If you are still in, I’m still in. Juno"

EASTER!
This weekend my friends and I went to ride our bikes, and we went to different villages around mine. On Saturday we went to Montanejos. Montanejos is a beautiful small village, it has a lovely landscape. We rode our bikes around the villages and then we went to a small river of Montanejos which water is hot. We go here sometimes because is a lovely river and you can enjoy a bath in summer and in winter as well (although when you finish your bath in the river in winter you go freezing). After swam in the river we returned to our village. On Sunday we went to Santo Espíritu (It's a beautiful area of my village; it has a beautiful monastery, a camping, and a picnic area as well). Some of our friends were sleeping at the camping of Santo Espiritu so we caught our bikes and went to visit them (It’s hard do this way by bike because we had to go uphill more than 20 minutes). We had lunch together. We cooked (well, they cooked) a paella (It was nice!) and then we went to play cards in the tents. After that my friends and I went to one of my friend's house and we watched a film. We watched my favorite film, Bridget Jones' Diary. I really love this film, it’s perfect. I read the novel and the film is very very similar. It's a funny story with a very funny main character. The starring is great! Specially Reneé Zellweger and Huge Grant (I love them!).
The film tells the story of a woman called Bridget Jones’. Bridget is in her early thirties, she smokes and drinks a lot, and she is worried because she’s still single. Her mother is worried too, so she always tries to find a man for Bridget, always rich men. In one of these intents she meets Mark Darcy but she thinks he is a “boring jerk”. She works in publicity and she fantasizes with her boss, Daniel Clivert. Bridget starts to flirt with him, and they finally start dating. One night, Bridget go to Daniel's house and finds out that he's infidel and they break up and Bridget give up her job, because she doesn’t want to see Daniel Clivert again. She starts to look for a job, and she finds a job as a reporter in television. One day Bridget returns to meet Marc Darcy and he confesses to Bridget that he likes her like she is. Bridget notices that she doesn’t hate him, she loves him. Finally Marc and Bridget start a relationship. In the second part of the film they got married, it’s a lovely end.
After watched the film we had dinner together and then we went to one pub of my village. We got drunk and we returned home.
Today I think I’m going to do some homework because I haven’t done anything these days. It’s going to be a funny Monday!

30·3·2010
Fallas are a Valencian traditional celebration (celebrated in March) in honor of Saint Joseph. In this celebration the artista fallero designs the falla of one neighborhood (a falla is also the monument created by the artista fallero). A falla is a kind of monument made by paper, wood, cork… and in this monument the artista fallero criticizes something about the politics, sports, music… of the Comunitat Valenciana or the country. These monuments are fitted in some neighborhoods and villages of Valencia the 15th of March; this act is called la plantà. After this day the Comissió fallera give a prize to all the fallas. There are a lot of seccions (they are categories) and only 3 fallas, of each category, win. The 17th and the 18th is the ofrenda a la verge dels desamparats. The falleros go to La plaza de la Virgen an offer flowers to the Cheperudeta (Valencia’s Virgin). The 18th night is La nit del foc. This night the pirotècnics (a person who makes fireworks) fill Valencia with a lot of fireworks; it’s a lovely night. After the fireworks there are a lot of parties. Finally the 19th is la cremà, the last day of Fallas. This day fallas are burned.
This year my falla, Falla Gilet (The falla of my village), won the first prize of the second and the third secció. The big falla was in the third category and the small falla was in the second. My falla compete with the fallas of Sagunto, Puerto de Sagunto and Faura (another village near of mine). In Valencia the falla Convento de Jerusalem won the first prize of the special category (the most beautiful and elaborate category). Honestly I think that this falla wasn’t the best, my favorite falla was the falla El Pilar. This year, in my opinion, the monuments were uglier than last year, well… because of the crisis, I think. I passed the most part of my time this fallas going to Valencia. I went to Valencia everyday because I like to listen to the mascletà, I like to see the monuments (specially the monuments that compete in the secció especial), I like to go to the parties at night and I love La nit del foc, so this year I didn’t pass so much time in my falla, but I went to have lunch in my casal everyday.
I enjoyed the fallas a lot this year and I want to enjoy this celebration next year as well.
Now I have already started my lessons at university. It’s hard to start again after fifteen days of holidays but now I have to make up all these hours that I have spent enjoying myself.
Now we have Easter holidays, but I think I won’t go anywhere, because I have spent a lot of money in my travel to Bristol and at Fallas, however I think I could enjoy my Easter (although I won’t go to a camping with my friends).

BRISTOL
BRIDGE (BRISTOL)
PIER (WESTON-S-MARE)
PIER(CLEVEDON)
I am in Spain again! I came back to Spain this Monday. I passed a really lovely time in Bristol, I feel like going to England again! I liked everything about this country, well, except some little things like the weather (It is always cold and raining), the hours for lunch and dinner (It is always very early for me), the people’s character (They are very quiet and they are not very friendly) and I hate the poor hygiene of this country; it is absolutely horrible! The British don’t use napkins neither tablecloth, they don’t pass the mop and they don’t clean very often (Their personal hygiene is also very poor, the 60% of the British men don’t clean their hands after going to the loo- I watched it in a TV program in Bristol)
I passed the rest of my days in Bristol going to small villages near Bristol like Clevedon, Weston-S-Mare etc. I love all these small villages. All these villages had a small beach. The water of them was very very dirty so they weren’t so beautiful. But I loved the centre of the villages with their small shops, cafés, cinemas and restaurants and I liked so much their piers (I think I have written the word correctly). A peer is a kind of jetty at the beach, they were lovely. Weston-S-Mare’s peer was burned down in 2008 and they were rebuilding it when I went to saw it; I think it will be more beautiful than before (I have seen the photos of the old peer and I have seen the plan of the new peer and it is lovely). Weston-S-Mare’s peer was quite famous in England, because it wasn’t only a jetty it was also a kind of amusement park with restaurants (I took some photos of it).
Now I am going to enjoy the fallas! I love fallas. I am fallera so I have a very busy agenda this week. Now I have to go to the casal fallero with all my friends and then we will have dinner in the carpa. Tonight we will go to Valencia, we need a big party! And tomorrow I think we will go to Valencia to see the fallas, which are better than in Sagunto (much much better) and then I think we will go to “La nit del foc”, I am really excited!!

BRISTOL.10.3.10
I’m passing the Magdalena in a village called Clevedon, the village is next to Bristol (England). I got to Bristol de 5th March and I will leave the town the 15th March. Bristol is great, I love it! I really love England, it’s nice and different, well… and a bit odd, you know, they drive different than us, they have pounds…
I’m living with Raquel and Pete, a young couple. She is Spanish and works as a teacher in Clevedon’s primary school, and he is an English man and works as an engineer. They live in a lovely house next to the coast of Clevedon (We can see Wales from Clevedon’s coast!).
These days we went to Bristol and we saw different beautiful places of the town, like the University, It was amazing!
Today I’ve gone to Clevedon’s Primary school and I’ve been a “helper” (a person who helps the teacher). The children in British schools are more polite than Spanish children; they always say “thank you”, “please” and “sorry” for everything. In the school teachers are constantly telling off the children for everything they do. I’ve been in penguins class. The children of this class were 6 or 7 years old. When the class started one child read for me and I have to help him while the others were learning maths and English language. At first was difficult to me to understand the children because they spoke very quickly to me, as if I were English and some of them were embarrassed to speak with me and they spoke to me very quietly and I couldn’t understand a word! Then I started to understand them so much better. In history class I was in charge of one group of children. They were writing a composition about the Caribbean Islands. One of the children, Tom, had problems with his redaction and was always asking to me his doubts. He was very very patient and I could explain to him how to write. Then we went to the playground. I think I’ve learnt so much with the children, they’ve taught to me a lot of things, they are very nice. After playing in the playground we went to have lunch at the dining hall. The dining halls in British schools are very different of Spanish’s. Each child brings his own dinner, well, his own sandwich and his our snacks, but in the school’s dining halls they didn’t serve food. After dinner we went to the midwife because Raquel is pregnant so she has to go every month, I think. Then we returned home and Raquel and Pete went to the College (Pete is studying Spanish and Raquel is still studying English) so I was alone in home. I went for a walk at 3 o’clock. I went to see Clevedon’s shops and big houses. I bought a hot chocolate and I drank it at the coast. Then I’ve returned home and I think we go to have dinner already.
I’ll take some photos of Clevedon, Bristol, the penguin class and Raquel and Pete’s house and I’ll put them in my blog when I return to Spain.
